Sales and List Building Intern
Introduction:
Since 2017, the Lead Sports Co. has educated and empowered hundreds of female athletes through the Lead Summit and Academy. Our goal is to support girls and women in sports and create a network of emerging female leaders, accomplished athletes, and industry specialists covering confidence, leadership, mental health, nutrition, and more. The Sales and List Building Intern will join the Sales Team to enhance mailing lists for coaches and teams around the country and contribute written sales copy for marketing materials and emails.
Intern Job Responsibilities:
Research and generate lists of potential customers
Provide input on customer briefs, presentations, and sales literature
Help develop client relationships and retain existing accounts
Assist in evaluating new sponsorship opportunities
Learn and apply sales techniques
Maintain sales records
Work Hours and Pay/Benefits:
Lead Interns are paid a monthly stipend
Interns are expected to be available for calls/meetings 2-3 days per week
Work on increasingly challenging and engaging real-world projects
Gain hands-on experience in each stage of the sales funnel
Collaborate with experienced sales professionals
Work closely with a mentor in the field
Attend meetings, events, and other networking opportunities
Education and Experience:
11th or 12th grade, College student
Sales, Advertising, Marketing, or Business major
3.0 GPA or higher
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Experience with Google docs, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel preferred
